Care and hosting

Website care and hosting, handled for you

// the short answer

Website care is the ongoing work that keeps your site fast, secure and current after launch. I host every site on a global edge network with automatic HTTPS, make content edits, publish scheduled blogs and newsletters, watch for problems and help with your domain and DNS. There are no plugins to patch, and you own your domain and content.

What website care means

Website care means your site keeps getting attention after launch instead of sitting untouched for years. A website is never really finished. Your services change, your hours change, you add a new city, you want a holiday look or a new blog post every month.

I launch every site quickly as a Phase 1 site, then refine it with you after launch. Ongoing care is the last step in my process, and it's where a lot of the real improvement happens. You can see the whole process on how it works.

Because it's a one-woman shop, you're not filing a ticket with a help desk. You call or text me, and I'm the one who makes the change.

Hosting on a global edge network

Every site I build is deployed to a global edge network. In plain terms, your site is copied to servers in many locations around the world, and each visitor gets it from a server close to them. That keeps pages quick whether someone is down the street in Surprise or across the country.

Most pages are built ahead of time and served as ready-made files, so there's no database to slow things down or go offline at a busy moment. That's a big part of why custom sites score well on Google's Core Web Vitals, which I explain on the website speed page.

HTTPS and security without plugin patching

Every site gets HTTPS automatically. HTTPS is the padlock in the browser bar, and it means information traveling between your site and your visitors is encrypted. Browsers warn people about sites without it, and Google has used HTTPS as a ranking signal since 2014. The certificate renews on its own, so it doesn't quietly expire.

Updates are simpler too. Plugin-based sites need constant patching, and security firm Patchstack's 2026 report found 91% of new WordPress ecosystem vulnerabilities in 2025 were in plugins. A hand-coded site doesn't carry a stack of third-party plugins, so there's far less to patch. I keep the site's own code and its few building blocks current, and the hosting platform handles the servers. More on that comparison is on custom code vs. website builders.

Content edits, blogs and newsletters

When something about your business changes, tell me and I'll update the site. That includes new services, new photos, updated hours, new service area pages and rewritten pages that aren't pulling their weight.

I also run scheduled content for clients right now:

  • Scheduled blogs. Posts are written ahead of time and publish automatically on a set schedule, so your site keeps adding fresh, useful answers without you remembering to post.
  • Monthly newsletters. A regular email to your customers that can publish on a schedule alongside the blog.

For example, Pro Solutions Air has a monthly newsletter and a scheduled blog that I set up. If you'd like me to write the content too, see content writing.

Seasonal themes

A seasonal theme changes the look of your site for a time of year, like summer heat for an HVAC company or the winter holidays. It can swap colors, banner images and featured offers for the season.

My AZ Pro, an HVAC and home services site I built, uses seasonal themes along with a newsletter and a blog. It's a small touch, but it shows visitors the business is active and paying attention.

Monitoring and checkups

Part of care is noticing problems before your customers do. I keep an eye on the things that affect whether your site works and gets found:

  • Uptime and broken pages. Making sure the site loads and links go where they should.
  • Speed. Rechecking Core Web Vitals after changes, so new photos or features don't slow pages down.
  • Search health. Watching that pages are indexed, the sitemap is current and structured data stays error-free.
  • Forms and phone links. Confirming that quote forms send and tap-to-call buttons dial the right number.

If something looks off, I fix it in the code instead of stacking another plugin on top.

Domain and DNS help, and what you own

Domains and DNS confuse almost everyone, so I handle them with you. Your domain is your web address, like yourbusiness.com. DNS is the set of records that tells the internet where your website and email live.

  • Connecting your domain. I point your domain to the new site without disturbing your existing email.
  • Registering a new domain. If you need one, I'll help you register it in your name.
  • Moving from an old host. I help you move off a previous platform and set up redirects so old links still work.

You own your domain and your content. Your web address, your words and your photos belong to you, not to me and not to a platform. If you ever want to go a different direction, you keep them.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in website care?

Website care covers hosting on a global edge network, automatic HTTPS, keeping the site's code current, content edits, scheduled blogs and newsletters, seasonal themes, monitoring for problems and help with your domain and DNS. The exact mix depends on your site and what you want it to do, so care is set up to fit each business.

Do I own my domain and content?

Yes. You own your domain and your content, including your web address, your text and your photos. If you need a new domain, I'll help you register it in your name. If you ever decide to move on, your domain and content go with you.

Do custom sites need plugin updates?

No, because a hand-coded site isn't built on a stack of third-party plugins. That removes the most common source of security patches on platforms like WordPress. The site still gets maintenance, but it's a much smaller job: keeping its own code and a few building blocks current while the hosting platform manages the servers.

How do I request a change to my website?

Call or text me at 480-550-2871, or email support@logoloco.co, and tell me what you'd like changed. You don't need to log into anything or learn an editor. I make the edit in the code, check that it looks right on phones and desktops and let you know when it's live.

Can my blog publish automatically?

Yes. Blog posts and monthly newsletters can be written ahead of time and set to publish automatically on a schedule. I run scheduled blogs and newsletters for clients now, so your site keeps adding fresh content even during your busiest season when you don't have time to think about it.
